PINK: The only reasonable color for our May window. Why? It's my birthday! Since it's one of my favorite days of the year, this blog post will be short and sweet but I wanted to share this window with you.
I can't forget to thank you all for voting last month for us in RI Monthly's Best of RI. Traditionally they announce winners at the end of July at a big party in advance of the August issue hitting shelves. Last year it was of course virtual but maybe this summer will allow for some combination. Who knows, but I'll be sure to announce on social media if we win (fingers crossed).
It has felt more like Spring since our Daffy Days window went up at the beginning of last month. And with Spring in Newport comes many days of 50 and raining, with just enough 60 something and sunny days to make you forget about the "April Showers" part of the season. For the rainy days, this Helly Hansen raincoat above is perfect, and for the 60s and sunny, my favorite is the Rails striped button up and Everlane high rise jeans below.

What are you most excited for in May? Newport is, as usual, counting down to Memorial Day Weekend, which we all know is the unofficial start to summer around here. In the meantime, Happy Spring! I am thinking that between the vaccine rollout and warmer weather coming, it'll be no time at all before we all have a reason to get dressed!
